People with disabilities are often marginalized, and by participating in physical activities they gain countless benefits, including optimization of physical functioning, and enhances overall well being. Also since people with disabilities generally have lower levels of fitness, and higher levels of obesity, due to lack of physical activities, and sports. This evidently shows that promoting the participation for people with disabilities in physical activities, and sports is a necessity Definition of Key Terms Disability: a physical or mental condition that limits a person s movements, senses, or activities. Physical Activity/Sport: an activity involving physical exertion, and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others.
